More Than Ink
Traditional tattoo values
At B.LIST, everyone’s welcome — no matter your background, story, or the ink you’re after.
We offer a judgement-free space with a high standard of care for every tattoo, big or small. Whether it’s a deeply personal memorial piece or a spur-of-the-moment idea, we bring the same focus, creativity and respect to every session.
With years of experience and a team who’ve seen it all, we know tattoos mean different things to different people. That’s why we prioritise empathy, comfort, and even a bit of banter to help you feel relaxed throughout the process.
Our studio is more than just a place to get tattooed—it’s a safe, vibrant space where good art and good vibes meet.

How we came to be
After the earthquakes, with many shops closing, our team came together for the love of tattooing and streetwear. The city was still recovering, and despite years of experience in other studios, starting our own was a leap of faith.
Like the Christchurch rebuild, B.LIST has faced its share of challenges—but no risk, no reward. What began as a spontaneous idea from a few hungry artists has grown into a long-standing local business, built on solid ground and here to stay.
We’ve shaped B.LIST to connect with a diverse crowd, not just one type of person -because good art speaks to everyone.
What separates us?
B.LIST isn’t just a business—it’s a family.
Over the years, friends, whānau, and clients have become part of our world, whether they’re getting tattooed, grabbing merch, or just popping in for moral support. We’re genuinely grateful to build relationships and memories through the work we love.
Our studio isn’t just a workplace—it’s a creative space where tattooing thrives. Sure, revenue matters, but the quality of our work and the vibe in the room always come first. We let our art speak for itself, and we’ve created an environment we’re proud to work in—and one we’d want to get tattooed in, too.
Creativity First
We believe tattoos are more than ink—they’re personal artworks. Every piece is approached with originality, care, and artistic intent.
